The organization’s newest initiative is the Canadian Licensed Practical Nursing Programme (CLPNP) which commenced in October 2008 with approximately 200 students spread across three campuses. The Mandeville campus (the newest) had its first intake of nursing students in August 2009 at the Jamaica Bible College.
The CLPNP is a joint programme between the governments of Jamaica and Canada in association with the Pre-University School and NorQuest College (Alberta, Canada). On selection, students will automatically be assigned a Canadian social security number and on successful completion of the course will receive a NorQuest College ‘parchment’/diploma, and be placed in a job in one of the Canadian provinces.
The requirements to join are:
]:[Three (3) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics and Biology.
]:[A non-refundable registration fee of J$2,500.00
